“Woodland Terrace’s senior prom lacked the typical drama, but offered a chance for generations to bridge the gap over shrimp cocktails, drinks and good tunes. Although some things have changed in the more than 50 years since some residents at Woodland Terrace danced to Nat King Cole next to the punch bowl, there was more than enough common ground.”

Senior Star will be welcomes associates from its senior living communities across the country for its annual Leadership Forum in Tulsa, Okla. As part of the conference, associates built “coping boxes” that are a resource for caregivers to help soothe those battling dementia and Alzheimer’s. Senior Star donated the Star Boxes to the Tulsa Alzheimer’s Association for use in their caregiver support groups.
